Brief

Don and Heidi Miller, along with an excellent eldership team, give leadership to Common Ground, Constantiaberg. Since the beginning they have been meeting in a tent structure next to a beautiful vineyard, but eighteen months ago were given notice to find a new venue.
They thought that they had found a perfect solution to build a permanent structure at a local high school, but discovered a land use problem that has halted this project. The church now has to move into the school’s existing facilities on 1 September while a team work with the school and council to resolve the issue.

Prayer points

• That through this unsettling process they would be able to keep maturing as the local church body for God’s glory;
• That the move on 1 September will go well and that no one family would be lose or left behind. A transition can be confusing for the youngest amongst them so please pray for abundant grace in this process.
• For the success of the temporary departure – it is not guaranteed and can take over a year or as little as 4 months depending on the local government and residents. In the process they believe God is opening the possibility of a long term/permanent base for them in their community.
