Across Europe we have seen the retreat of Christianity and the rise of radical secularism. So few people now seem to have any knowledge of the gospel and many of our towns and cities can seem barren of genuine Christian witness. At the same time recent decades have seen many beautiful examples of vibrant church life springing up in response to the leading of the Spirit and the faithful preaching of the Word. We lament and rejoice!

In Advance we have a vision and passion for planting and strengthening churches.

We believe that planting churches is the best form of evangelism. It is by starting new, healthy, faithful, congregations that the gospel is displayed and disciples made. We want to partner in planting many more churches like this across the UK; and we would love to be more involved in gospel advance in Europe – to see secular, individualistic people brought into the amazing community of God’s people.

We also want to help ensure existing churches are healthy. We have strong values around the recognition and deployment of strengthening gifts into our churches, and a commitment to brotherly support and encouragement of one another. We know we are more together than we are apart.
