Opening doors into Latin America

Carolyn CramerNorteamérica

One of the encouraging developments across the Americas has been the strengthening of relationships that are opening new doors into the Spanish-speaking world.

In late 2024, Iglesia Avance in Orlando, Florida officially joined the Advance family, becoming the first Spanish-speaking church in our movement. While this is significant in itself, it also represents something much bigger.

For many years, Advance leaders and churches have prayed for opportunities to strengthen and plant churches throughout Latin America. While the desire has been strong, meaningful pathways forward have often felt just out of reach. Through God’s providence, those doors are beginning to open through genuine friendship, shared values, and a common passion for the gospel.

Led by Ezekiel and Nicole Oretta, Iglesia Avance is a diverse church community representing more than twenty nationalities, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of Latin America itself. Their vision is to see the gospel continue to spread through authentic relationships, strengthening churches and reaching new communities across the region. As we look ahead, we are grateful for this growing partnership and excited by the opportunities God is creating for greater gospel advance throughout Latin America.

We continue to pray for wisdom, open doors, and many more churches to be planted and strengthened in the years to come.
