Strengthening churches across Nepal and India through global partnership
Across the mountains of Nepal and throughout India, local churches are faithfully preaching the gospel, making disciples, serving their communities, and planting new churches. Many of these pastors lead in challenging and under-resourced contexts, yet they continue to serve with remarkable faith, perseverance, and courage.
Church to Church exists to connect these churches with partner churches around the world through relationship, encouragement, prayer, and practical support. Because no church should stand alone.
More than financial support
At the heart of Church to Church is partnership. We are not simply looking for donors. We are seeking meaningful relationships between churches — relationships where pastors encourage one another, churches pray for one another, and communities across nations become connected through a shared mission.
Partnership includes practical financial support, but it also includes friendship, mutual encouragement, regular communication, prayer, testimonies, and shared faith for what God is doing.
We want churches in Nepal and India to know they are seen, valued, and supported by a wider family of churches and we believe partner churches around the world are strengthened and inspired as they hear the stories of what God is doing across these regions.
What partnership looks like
A typical Church to Church partnership includes:
- Monthly financial support for a local pastor, their family, and basic ministry needs
- Regular updates, testimonies, and prayer requests
- Video messages and communication between churches
- Opportunities for Zoom calls and relationship building where possible
- Ongoing encouragement and prayer between church leaders and communities
Every partnership looks slightly different, but the goal is always the same: genuine relationship and shared mission.
The need right now
God continues to open doors across Nepal and India.
Today, there are more than 60 Advance churches across these regions, with new church plants continuing to emerge.
Around 20 churches currently have active partnerships, and we are deeply grateful for every church that has chosen to stand alongside them.
But there are still churches waiting for partnership today.
Church to Church is also currently operating at a monthly deficit as we work to support existing churches while new partnerships are being formed.
We would love to see every church connected, encouraged, and strengthened through relationship with the wider Advance family.
Why it matters
For many pastors, partnership means more than financial help.
It means knowing someone is praying for them.
It means encouragement in difficult seasons.
It means their church community feels connected to the wider body of Christ.
It means leaders serving faithfully in remote or challenging contexts are reminded that they are not alone.
And for partner churches, it is an opportunity to build meaningful global relationships and participate directly in what God is doing across Nepal and India.
