Meet the Speakers

Clive Bowsher

Clive is the Provost and Director of Mission at Union, leading the team at the School of Theology, where he teaches New Testament and Biblical Theology. Previously a lead pastor in Oxfordshire, he now serves as an elder in his local church.

He is the author of Life in the Son: Exploring Participation and Union with Christ in John’s Gospel and Letters (IVP Academic, NSBT series) and ONE: Being United to Jesus Changes Everything (Union Publishing). Clive is married to Kerstin, and they have a son, Alasdair.

Terry Virgo

Terry is the founder of Newfrontiers, a global family of churches dedicated to restoring the church, making disciples, training leaders, and planting churches. Today, Newfrontiers serves 1,500+ churches across 70 countries.

A widely respected Bible teacher, Terry has spoken at conferences worldwide, including the renowned Stoneleigh Bible Week and Together on a Mission conference. In 2011, he transitioned Newfrontiers into a network of apostolic spheres, passing leadership to fifteen apostolic leaders.

He has authored several books, including:
